Our Latest Project: Featured in Colorado Home & Lifestyle Magazine’s April 2015 Issue

June 15, 2015

We’re privileged to work with talented, creative people and are honored to have a stunning project we just finished featured in Colorado Home & Lifestyle Magazine. Jodi Cook and Ashley Campbell of Ashley Campbell Interior Design brought us in to help tackle a home whose first challenge was a dark ambiance. The home had previously-installed heavy, dark wood blinds that used outdated motorization technology. Colorado homes are known for big windows that frame amazing views and this one not only had big windows, but a lot of them and some with custom arched shapes above the enormous windows. Needless to say we had our work cut out for us.

With the interior design team we visited the client’s home and after some excellent discussions developed a plan to use Hartmann & Forbes shades with Lutron technology. While both brands create exceptional products, they often have a wait time. We used our magic (read that as years of relationship building) and were able to deliver on a tight timeline.

To keep the house light and bright, we designed the shades to have a minimal footprint, and once we began installing the new Hartmann & Forbes shades with a Lutron QS Wireless system, the home looked instantly brighter and bigger. Now the client can enjoy the expansive mountain views when they are at home. They can control the shades with a click of a button on their tablet or mobile device, either within the room, or from thousands of miles away. They never have to wonder, “Did I remember to…”

We are so excited to see our work featured in the April 2015 issue of Colorado Home & Lifestyle Magazine. Check out the article with many beautiful photographs of this stately home here.
